ENVIRO-FROST PLUS This specially formulated fluid has all the same properties of Enviro-Frost with special additives to protect against scale build-up in copper and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. ENVIRO-FROST PLUS provides a protective coating on metal surfaces to prevent corrosion and scale build-up. Specifically designed for use where deionized make-up water is not available, this new product will soften (chelate) up to 1000 grams of water hardness. ENVIRO-FROST PLUS will protect systems down to minus 50 degrees F. when diluted 50/50 with available make-up water. A special additive in ENVIRO-FROST PLUS functions by reacting with copper oxide on the surface of copper or copper alloys forming a strong, insoluble polymeric complex. This complex formation results in a protective layer or film on the copper surface, a few molecules thick, that provides both a mechanical and electro chemical barrier against corrosive attack. Additional additives provide corrosion 'protection and accumulation of scale buildup on all ferrous and non-ferrous metals. When diluted 50/50, ENVIRO-FROST PLUS will chelate up to 1000 grams of water hardness.
ENVIRO-FROST PLUS contains propylene glycol and special additives to be used in Hydronic, Heating and Cooling systems where water hardness is a recurring problem. When diluted 50/50 the system will be burst protected to -50 degrees F. |
